Cloud & Kubernetes Engineering Lead
Led the migration of a legacy application from on-premise Windows Server infrastructure to Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service, writing GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Helm charts from scratch and running Kubernetes knowledge-transfer sessions for the team taking it on. Built Azure Functions integrating with a message bus and SQL database, and scripted the CI/CD pipeline that automated their build, test, and deployment. Secured additional API services with mTLS and an ingress controller, and introduced documentation tooling that became a team-wide standard.

Early Career: Cloud Migration & Containerisation
Lifted and shifted multiple applications as part of a large-scale on-premise-to-cloud migration, and upskilled in Docker to containerise others onto an internal platform. Led development of a core file-transfer component for that platform, and worked as lead test engineer on a high-priority application built at pace during a critical period, including volunteering for on-call support. Built documentation templates, a project-lifecycle framework, and a scheduling tool for an internal events function to help establish standards for a newly formed team, and ran regular feedback sessions to surface team input to leadership.
